​The Well Pen -Pal Ministry and Bible Correspondence

2 Corinthians 3:1 
“This letter is not written with pen and ink, but with the spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.”

It is our desire to communicate hope to women who are imprisoned because of past unhealthy thirsts, mentoring them right where they are, and encouraging them to walk boldly in the new life that Jesus Christ has given them. We will do this through one-on-one discipleship, with letters, cards and Bible correspondence courses. Teaching them to daily dip in the well.

We mentor them through their prison sentence and continue to build relationships with them. When they are released from prison, they have a friendly face to walk with them as they transition back into our communities.

Jan has volunteered over the years in many aspects of the ministry, including writing and mentoring women in prison and walking them step by step back into the community.
​In 2010 Jan served as our board secretary. She currently, helps with our Chapel services at the local Jackson County Jail.
